Joseph R. Hudson
C.A.M. Founder, and Chairman—Project Relations
Joe is the Founder and Chairman of the Hudson Strategic Group Inc. (HsG). This company grew out of Joe’s efforts as a trainer for Corporate Supplier Diversity Program Development in 1991. He had successfully trained more than 4,000 persons in Supplier Diversity while serving as the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council’s executive director in Atlanta. Joe is a recognized expert on Small business and community development and has testified before the US House Small Business Sub-Committee. Joe served one year as an Assistant to Secretary the Office of Personnel Management as a selected Presidential Exchange Executive with the Whitehouse Program on Executive Exchange.
Further he brings the added experience emanating from his participation in the International Business Fellows Program. He has been a featured columnist for three newspapers—The Atlanta Tribune, Minority Business News USA, and the Atlanta Business Chronicle. A community engagement specialist, Joe is widely recognized for his facilitation efforts around Strategic Planning and Process Implementation and has successfully led much strategic planning and/implementation assignments in Georgia and elsewhere. Joe’s work has been acknowledged with the unique award from the Mayor and Entire Atlanta City Council and The Entire Fulton County Commission of January 21, 1976, as Joseph R. Hudson Day in both the city and the county.
B. Kirk Patterson
Executive VP, and COO—Lead Facilitator
With the firm since 1994, Kirk perfected his skills in quantitative analysis as an internal and external business consultant for Dean Witter, Pepsi, and IBM. He has extensive experience in growing revenue for third-party vendors, dealers, corporate investors, and business partners. For the past 24 years, he has specialized in conducting performance analyses for entrepreneurial divisions, business units, and companies. Kirk is a recognized expert in developing and creating balanced organizational scorecards and their accompanying strategic maps. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt and a Georgia Oglethorpe/Malcolm Baldrige Examiner. He also leads the firm’s “Crossroads for Teens Program,” a career and college planning subscription service that assists middle school and high school students in identifying the best education and career path for each individual.
Janet Hill
Chief Marketing Officer
Janet is the former Director of Human Resources – Talent Acquisition & Shared Services for United Industries, a consumer products manufacturer. Her responsibilities involved national recruiting, strategic planning, performance management, diversity and inclusion, training, communications, and employee relations for approximately 1,400 employees. Additionally, she implemented a comprehensive performance management system within budget and ahead of schedule with minimal disruption to normal business operations. Under her direction, the annual seasonal recruiting expenses were reduced by 40%. Before joining United Industries, Janet held multiple client services, professional staffing, and human resources initiatives with Deloitte & Touche. Her expertise included technology, tax incentives, corporate real estate, relationship management, diversity, and inclusion. Her results elevated the regional performance to national recognition for support and funding as the “preferred” recruiting and internal strategic development framework. Before joining Deloitte & Touche, Janet held multiple roles with IBM. Her role as lead technical trainer assisted in the attainment of a 95% customer satisfaction rating. As a senior marketing strategist, she managed marketing professionals, executives, and technology business partners. Her major accomplishment in this role was a direct marketing campaign that contributed $97 million in revenue. She began her career with IBM as a Systems Engineer.
Richard Finley
VP Birmingham Office Project Manager
Richard has over 20 years of consulting and research experience. His experiences as a contracting manager with federal agencies qualify him to serve as the Project Manager of this engagement. Richard is very familiar with the Birmingham community, state, and major corporations. Mr. Finley served as a liaison for the City of Birmingham during the 1996 Olympics. Additionally, he has a strong background in finance and banking, holding senior positions with various financial institutions.
Wendell Love
Vice President Non-profits & Technographer
Wendell associated with HsG in 2004 as a Senior Project Manager after working with Bellsouth and EDS as an ISO 9000 Quality System Consultant. He consulted on several strategic plans with departments at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Wendell also served as a Georgia Oglethorpe Award Process Examiner. Wendell has an MBA degree from Nova Southeastern University, a Six Sigma Green Belt. He is certified as a Balanced Scorecard Master Practitioner (BSMP). Additionally, he has earned certifications in Nonprofit Change Management, Program Management, Organizational Management, Performance Management, and Fundraising and Communications.
